Updates to Ars Magica Downloads

With many thanks to Erik, Birbin, and Rich, we now have updated versions for the Ars Magica shape and material bonuses, and spell index. Check them out from the Ars Magica 5th Edition product page.

Off to GTS

Early tomorrow morning (April 23) Michelle and I will be catching a plane to Las Vegas for the annual GAMA Trade Show, which will keep us away from the office all week.

Societates Preview

The product page for Houses of Hermes: Societates now includes a small sneak preview of the table of contents and introduction.

This book is at press and we expect it to be in our warehouse sometime in the second half of May.

All the cool kids like it ...

From Wil Wheaton's blog:

"I don't know if I'll be able to walk past Pieces of Eight another time and not buy it."

Read it now!

Societates: Off to Press (and UA reprint)

Yesterday I bundled two projects off to the printer.

The first is Houses of Hermes: Societates, the next Ars Magica sourcebook. This was supposed to be an April release, but since it should take about 6 weeks at the printer, we can expect the finished books to arrive in our warehouse in late May.

I also went ahead and ordered a reprint of the Unknown Armies 2nd Edition core rulebook. We've been sold out of this cult classic for a few months, but demand remains strong and I feel confident investing in this third printing.

Didn't win a badge? Remember that we'll be selecting stories and photos to include in the 40 Years of Gen Con coffee table book in the next month or so. This selection is completely separate from the free badge promo ... so there's still a chance you could end up in the book and get a free copy, too, whether you won a badge or not! We'll announce those names sometime in May, so stay tuned!

Also, GenCon.com will be accepting pre-orders for the 40 Years of Gen Con coffee table book through their website, and the Gen Con Indy gift shop will be THE exclusive place to buy it on its release in August ... if you can wait, it should also be available through your friendly local retail store a few weeks after the convention.

Once Upon a Time Review

Michael Erb of the Parkersbug News and Sentinal recently wrote a review of Once Upon a Time, which has been subsequently posted to Board Game Geek. Michael says, "Once Upon A Time is a great game, and can be played by a group of adults, a group of children or any combination of the two." Read the entire review!
