Over the Edge 2nd Edition Reprint

Earlier this week we announced to distributors that we have planned the reprinting of Over the Edge 2nd Edition, the now-classic roleplaying game of surreal danger on the bizarre Mediterranean island of Al Amarja, designed by Jonathan Tweet with Robin D. Laws. There will be only minor cosmetic changes (such as switching to an EAN barcode on the back cover), plus a price change (it was $25, a price that dates back to 1997; it now will be $29.95).

If you can't wait to get it in print, it's available right now as a pay-download from RPGNow.

No, sorry. We're actually going to go with digital ("print on demand") printing. In order for the economics of a hardcover to work, we'd have to gang it with another 240-page hardcover book, and we don't have any of those on the near horizon. (At one point we were thinking we might do one of the two volumes of Northern Crown at that size, rather than the two equal-sized books we have.) Rather than wait indefinitely, digital printing will allow us to make the book available again soon, and reprint in very small quantities as needed.
