Out of Print: Guardians of the Forests

Orders today have taken the last of our stock of AG0276 Guardians of the Forests. I'm marking it as out of print. It may be reprinted at some point, but I could not right now predict when.

Our warehouse is sold out, but there are still copies at Warehouse 23, many distributors worldwide, and quite possibly your local game store. Now's a good time to snag a copy if you think you might want to own it.

When I find time to do it, I'll be producing a PDF version of the book that we'll make available as a pay download from RPGNow.

  1. So does your decision to reprint or not reprint depend on when another tribunal book (Normandy, Provence, Thebes, Hibernia), could fit into the ars production schedule?

  2. Not really. The main consideration is the economics of printing. Basically, if we can combine it with another book of the same page count and hardcover format, which needed to be printed in the same relatively small quantity, then the printing costs might work. But even then, it would take a relatively long time for the sales to pay for the cost of printing (since it wouldn't have as big an immediate burst of sales as a new release gets).

  3. I suppose I might note that, anticipating the selling out of Guardians of the Forests, we did add another tribunal book to our long-term planning, since we think it's good to have one available in the line. But for now I think that's still in the super-double-secret files. :)
