Trial by Fire in PDF

Today's new PDF for sale is a bit of ancient Atlas Games history: Trial by Fire, an adventure for Ars Magica Second Edition, was published in the early '90s under a license from White Wolf (who had at that point just merged with Lion Rampant, ArM's original publisher).  The 32-page adventure booklet (with a two-color cover) is out of print, but now available as a download from e23 for the measly sum of $5.

Monday's PDF: Four Bastards

We have another Feng Shui PDF online today, the adventure Four Bastards by Robin D. Laws.  You can still buy it in print from Warehouse 23, or download it in minutes from e23 for just $5.

Al Amarja, Circa 1959

Over the Edge began as Jonathan Tweet's weird and supposedly unpublishable homebrew game.  As an "unpublishable" game, it was of course exactly the kind of project that I had started Atlas Games to publish -- something that was not likely to be printed by the major RPG publishers of the early 90s, an era when print-on-demand and PDF sales didn't exist and the "indy RPG" scene was, it's probably fair to say, undefined.

After 15 years, during which he was involved in a few other games, Jonathan reports that he's starting up his Over the Edge game again...with a twist and some reflection on the original inspirations of the game and the world of almost twenty years ago in which he dreamed it up.  Check it out.

(Most of the original Over the Edge product line is still in print and available from Warehouse 23 as well as numerous other retailers.  You can also buy and enjoy the On the Edge CCG that Jonathan and I designed in 1994, which shares the same setting.)

Download the Frozen North: Ultima Thule

The last PDF to go live this week is Ultima Thule: Mythic Scandinavia, an Ars Magica 4th Edition sourcebook of the Norse lands.  It's available for download today from e23, and you can still buy it in print from Warehouse 23 as well.

PDF of the New Flesh

Another day, another PDF... This time it's Seed of the New Flesh, the Feng Shui sourcebook that describes the Architects of the Flesh and their dystopian future.  It's available for download from e23, or if you prefer to spend your money on the physical object you can still acquire it from Warehouse 23 as well.

Bishop's Staff Available for Download

Monday's PDF: Pierced Heart

This week kicks off with a new digital book for sale.  Pierced Heart was the first novel by Robin D. Laws.  It's set on the fabled Mediterranean island of Al Amarja, setting of the On the Edge CCG and Over the Edge RPG.  You can still obtain the book in print (from Warehouse 23, for example), but now you also have the option of buying the PDF for download from e23!

Heirs to Merlin: Out of Print, but now in PDF

Recently we sold out of our last copies of Heirs to Merlin: The Stonehenge Tribunal.  This sourcebook was published in the 4th Edition Ars Magica era, and authored by the illustrious line developer, David Chart.  We do not plan to bring it back in print, but we have made it available for sale as a PDF download.  You can get it right now from e23, if it pleases you!  If you'll only be pleased with a copy of the printed book, don't dawdle if you happen to see one on the shelves of your favorite game store...
