The aforementioned reprints of Postmodern Magick and Furry Pirates arrived at our warehouse dock a short time ago. We've sent word to our distributors, and expect to begin shipping orders tomorrow.
Fantastic! I look forward to picking up Postmodern Magic. Any chance of the other UA supplements, particularly "Weep" and "Lawyers, Guns and Money" seeing a reprint?
It's definitely possible, perhaps even likely. :-) Digital printing makes much shorter reprint runs viable. The unit cost is higher than traditional printing (and the profit thus lower), but fewer copies means tying up less money in inventory.
That would be ten kinds of great! I only recently stumbled across Unknown Armies, and I'm having a devil of a time getting my hands on sourcebooks. I've got the core book, Hush Hush and Break Today, but beyond that, everything is out of stock everywhere.
I remember seeing on the Atlas Blog some mention of new UA books under development - is there anything you can share about those?
Before this reprint, HH and BT were in fact the only supplements left in print.
About the PDF-only books that were planned: They are on hold indefinitely, I'm sorry to report. You can read more about it in the comments on this post: http://blog.atlas-games.com/2009/10/call-for-unknown-armies-pitches.php
We get the biggest cut from sales through Warehouse 23, who handle all of our website mail order. They should have their copies of the reprint very soon (today or tomorrow, I think), but as yet their website is not yet updated to allow ordering. When it is, I expect this should be the URL (it currently lists the item as out of stock): http://www.warehouse23.com/item.html?id=AG6003

Is the Church at press yet?
ReplyDeleteYes, The Church is at press and on time. Our printer has given us March 9th as the expected delivery date.
ReplyDeleteHow/from who would I buy Postmodern Magick from online? I see it for sale on Amazon, but I want to make sure the profit margins reach you guys :)
