Cam Banks to Join Atlas Games
It's my pleasure to announce that Cam Banks will join the staff of Atlas Games, starting in February, with the title of Brand Manager.
Atlas Games experienced tremendous growth in 2012, and it looks like things won't slow down this year. It's been a challenge for us to keep up, let alone take advantage of new opportunities that come our way. Cam's diverse talents and experience as a creator and manager will be a tremendous asset.
For the past five years, Cam has worked as Managing Editor, Lead Developer, and Creative Director for Margaret Weis Productions. At MWP, he oversaw the creation and management of roleplaying games based on licensed properties such as the TV shows Leverage and Smallville, and Marvel comics. Cam will continue to work with MWP on select projects (speaking of which, be sure to check out the Cortex Plus Hacker's Guide Kickstarter!). Besides his game credits, Cam has also authored a novel, The Sellsword, which was published by Wizards of the Coast.
We look forward to Cam joining our team!

Gloom Sold Out (Again)
Today the remaining copies of Gloom in our warehouse are shipping out to assorted distributors. Sorry to the folks whose orders we were not able to fill.
I ordered a reprint before Christmas, and we anticipate that it will arrive around the end of this month. In the meantime, many copies are out in the distribution channels -- but it could be that your preferred vendor is unable to stock it for a short time.

Writer's Handbook in Hand
Yesterday our printer delivered the Once Upon A Time Writer's Handbook to our warehouse. We've started shipping to overseas customers already (along with Against the Dark); we'll start stagger shipping the book to US customers next week, since we'd set tomorrow as the deadline for orders.
Against the Dark just arrived at our warehouse. We'll be getting right to work shipping orders!
More Crows Praise
A review of Murder of Crows is up at Geek's Dream Girl. Reviewer L writes, "Murder of Crows, from Atlas Games, is (to me) a ridiculously adorable, fantastically morbid card game. [...] the art on the cards is charmingly creepy and a little deranged, and the basic box illustration front and back does a good job of being an up front representation of the game. Definitely a good warm up game or fast time killer between long games, fairly inoffensive unless you have serious death in entertainment and games issues, and one of the first card games I could understand and teach after one play. It’s a keeper" Read it now!
Crows Review
Pookie at Reviews from R'lyeh just posted a review of Murder of Crows. He says, "Murder of Crows is a light filler game, one with slight tactics, a light storytelling aspect, and a wryly dark theme. Murder of Crows offers fast, fatal
fun." Read it now!
Transylvania Update
A problem in the bindery over the holidays kept Against the Dark: The Transylvanian Tribunal from getting finished and delivered to us when originally expected. The issue has now been resolved, however, and we are expecting the printer to deliver our books on Monday or Tuesday. We're sorry for the delay. We'll get to work shipping out distributor orders ASAP, since we know Ars Magica fans eagerly await the book!
Al Amarja Map
Don't want to mar your own copy of the limited edition book? The full-color map of the island of Al Amarja is now available for download on the Over the Edge 20th Anniversary Edition product page. Enjoy!
