Once Upon A Time on a special day

Once Upon A Time is great for creating entertaining stories with friends and family, but it's also an excellent way to teach social skills while having fun.

Our friend Rich Gain at Jester's Playhouse in Northfield, NJ shared the game with teens as part of a local business initiative to create specially accommodating events for kids with developmental disabilities like autism, ADHD, or Down's Syndrome. You can read more about it here.

And consider Once Upon A Time as a gift to your favorite teacher, school counselor, or family!

  1. article, and more importantly, your personal experienceMindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story, since I can certainly relate and I think others can too
