As I type this, it's already International TableTop Day in many parts of the world! Atlas Games is very proud to support this event. Besides the special TableTop Gloom promo expansion, and the free Unknown Armies PDF sourcebooklet Thin Black Line, we're going to be out playing games!
First of all, the Atlas Games staff is going to be gaming over at The Source Comics & Games in Roseville, Minnesota. Events at the Source start at 1:00 PM, and you'll find John, Michelle, Jess and Cam playing and teaching some of our games, and playing some of our favorites from rival publishers as well! We will also have some special goodies to give away -- including TableTop Gloom and the special Source promo card for Once Upon A Time. The Source is expecting to get a call from the folks playing games out at Geek & Sundry at some point. Besides local gaming luminaries, world famous illustrator John Kovalic is rumored to be visiting The Source on TableTop Day as well!
Across the ocean, gamers in the UK can see Once Upon A Time co-designer James Wallis at Leisure Games. Time permitting, he tells us he hopes to visit some other retailers as well.
Gloom designer Keith Baker has plans for TableTop Day as well. You'll find him at Rainy Day Games from 2-3 PM, and then at Things From Another World on Broadway at 3:30 PM. Keith has also been working on a how-to-play-Gloom video, which will be online soon!

How do we get our super-cool free GLOOM cards? Perhaps we visit our local retail shop? Maybe?
ReplyDeleteYes - game stores that signed up for TableTop Day received boxes of goodies including some of the GLOOM cards. Geek & Sundry may have some other ways of giving them away as well, since I know that not all of them went out in the support packs.

We'll also have some special giveaways, such as TableTop Gloom and a Source promo card for Once Upon A Time. The Source expects to receive a call from the people who play games at Geek & Sundry at some point. This will allow me to deliver more relevant information about education, online courses, a certain platform, or other topics.
